Description
The Electronics and STEM Exploration courses require teachers that are knowledgeable in basic electronics and circuit analysis including circuit variables (voltage, current, power and energy) and components (sources, resistors, capacitors and inductors). The courses include career exploration, consumer awareness, hands on activities, safety, and laboratory skills. The courses may include coding (e.g. Python, C++), robotics, rocketry, CAD design and 3D printing as well. Our STEM labs are equipped with supplies such as autonomous robots, laser cutters, 3D printers, flight simulators, etc. for a wide range of projects and student engagement.

All Classroom Teachers provide high quality instruction to all students, with appropriate supports for their students with IEPs and ELL students. The Classroom Teacher is responsible for ensuring that the district’s mission is accomplished by managing all aspects of their classrooms with the goal of maximizing student achievement. ACES teachers work as a team to implement the curriculum while tailoring specific instruction utilizing their knowledge and passion for the subject.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (emphasis in a needed subject area preferred). Engineers and retired STEM professionals looking for an exciting teaching opportunity where your skills are valued are encouraged to apply.
